About Raynor

Raynor Language Training Academy, officially founded in 1998 under the supervision of the Education Bureau of Shenyang, is a leading provider of high-quality language training and related educational services in Shenyang, Northeast China. Each year, Raynor helps over 500 students to learn Chinese, English and other languages.

Raynor is a language Academy in its own grounds, with 5 designed classrooms, language lab, reading room, and a spacious staffroom with good resources and individual computer and internet access. There is plentiful residential accommodation for students from outside Shenyang, China.

Raynor has so far provided Chinese HSK Test//General Chinese, Business Chinese, IELTS/General English, Business English, Teacher Development and Young Learner courses delivered in local schools.

Chinese as a Non-Native Language Program

Chinese as a Non-Native language (CNL) classes are designed specifically to meet your needs. Our CNL faculty members each hold advanced degrees in language acquisition or related fields. Their expertise will provide you with the most up to date comprehensive language classes available. We offer classes at five levels, beginners to advanced, to help you prepare for success in college-level academics and Chinese life.

How long will it take
The length of time depends on how well you know the Chinese language and how quickly you learn. It is possible to complete all of the courses in four quarters or one calendar year. The length of time depends on your level.

How much will it cost
The approximate cost of tuition for CNL classes is approximately $ 950 and textbooks are estimated at $ 50 per quarter.

Which courses should I enroll in
Upon your arrival at Raynor, you will take a Chinese Placement Test that will give you the recommended courses to register for. Your Advisor will assist you with registration.

Principal
Marie Lee
Marie Lee was named president of Raynor Academy in 2004.  She joined Raynor in 1999 as Administrative Services Manager, received her undergraduate degree in English from Northeast Normal University and earned an Master Degree in Art at Liaoning University.  Now she is an associate professor at Shenyang University.
